Proud of Deanna

Deanna has been learning all sorts of neat things at school. Today when I picked her up from school, her teacher was really excited to show me her work. Apparently, they were learning about the number five. They were counting out pieces of cereal and toys around the room and ended with this coloring page of Humpty Dumpty sitting on 5 bricks. The instructions were to color Humpty's clothing and bricks, but to not color his face. Deanna was the only kid in her class that followed the directions and only colored from his shirt down. Yay Deanna!!!

Giraffe Time!

Deanna has devloped a love for any and all animals, but lately she has focused her love on giraffes. Many of you have met "Raffey" her stuffed animal. So, Jamie and I thought it was about time to take her to meet some real giraffes at the Brevard Zoo. We had a great time seeing all the animals, but most of all we loved the giraffe exhibit. Check it out, it is really cool!! Check out the giraffe's long black tongue waiting for Deanna to feed him! They said that a giraffe's tongue can grow up to 18 inches long!!!
