It seems like every day Deanna has a new tooth breaking through. She now has 7 teeth! We have worked with her to start chewing food and she is just now starting to get the hang of it.
We created this blog so that our friends and family can watch our family grow and change from month to month. Every day brings on something new and we wanted to share every moment with you! The most recent entries start at the top.
day (7-16-06), Deanna pulled herself up to a standing position with no help! Jamie and I were on the floor counting some money from a garage sale we had and Deanna was playing in her crib when all of a sudden she was peeking over and looking at us (see pics below). At first I thought she was on her knees (she had been pulling herself to her knees for a little while now), but then I realized that she was way to tall to be on her knees. Jamie and I clapped and cheered as the dogs barked because they didn't understand all the comotion. She did this a few more times before she got tired. Needless to say, we lowered the mattress on her crib so that she couldn't be adventurous and try to "let herself" out of bed.
ar treatment because she arrived at the party on a boat! Deanna went on her first boatride, which she didn't like to much. To be fair, we don't think it was boatride she didn't like, rather the bulky life vest she had to wear. After the party, we went back to Art and Katie's where Deanna splashed around in the pool for a couple hours. We tried to keep her up so that she could see some fireworks. Once the fireworks started, she wasn't too sure what to make of them. After a few minutes we looked at her and she was crying. So, that was the end of the day. She was exhausted and the fireworks were loud, so we decided to take her home. She was a trooper because she had been up and busy all afternoon. Needless to say, she slept like a rock that night. (Bottom Pic: Deanna and Lauren are getting to know each other. Lauren is 4 months old).
(pretty funny to watch because he kept getting stuck to the sides), and enjoyed the swings. This was the first time she has ever been in a swing at the park and she couldn't get enough of it. She was giggling and smiling the entire time (see pics below). Also, in the swing pictures you can see Deanna's 4 teeth!! They have been coming through the past month and they are FINALLY here...
