When Toddlers Wash Cars...

We stopped by to visit our friends Art and Katie after the Easter party. They were out in the front washing the cars and the girls wanted to participate. They dumped the rags in the soapy water and wiped the car down a couple times, but soon realized that it was more fun to wash themselves!!!

Easter in the Park

Our friends Becky and John invited us to an Easter Party at the park. It was a little chilly and rainy that morning, but nothing would stop the party from going on. After some good food, the kids had a chance to hunt Easter eggs. Deanna did great, she got the hang of it really quick. Thanks for the invite Becky, we had a great time! The Easter Bunny goes hop...hop...hop!Hmmm, where are all the eggs? Deanna with her friend Jillian!

Deanna's school had their Easter Egg Hunt today. It was raining this morning, so they had to do the hunt inside the church. Here are some shots from the event: Deanna with her friend Kristin Hmmm, which one should I pick. Deanna with her friend Josiah. Jamie is already getting the background check on this one! :)

Dog Parade

My friend Jessica and I took Deanna to the dog parade. We met up there with my friends Caryn and Damian and their daughter Sadie. It was so much fun, not to mention amazing to see so many dogs in the parade. They were dressed up and actually sitting still on their floats. It was great! Deanna getting some candy that was thrown from one of the floats going by. We tried and tried, but couldn't get the girls to look at the camera. "SPONGE DOG"

Proud of Deanna

Deanna has been learning all sorts of neat things at school. Today when I picked her up from school, her teacher was really excited to show me her work. Apparently, they were learning about the number five. They were counting out pieces of cereal and toys around the room and ended with this coloring page of Humpty Dumpty sitting on 5 bricks. The instructions were to color Humpty's clothing and bricks, but to not color his face. Deanna was the only kid in her class that followed the directions and only colored from his shirt down. Yay Deanna!!!
