Dog Parade
My friend Jessica and I took Deanna to the dog parade. We met up there with my friends Caryn and Damian and their daughter Sadie. It was so much fun, not to mention amazing to see so many dogs in the parade. They were dressed up and actually sitting still on their floats. It was great!
Deanna getting some candy that was thrown from one of the floats going by.
We tried and tried, but couldn't get the girls to look at the camera.

Proud of Deanna
Deanna has been learning all sorts of neat things at school. Today when I picked her up from school, her teacher was really excited to show me her work. Apparently, they were learning about the number five. They were counting out pieces of cereal and toys around the room and ended with this coloring page of Humpty Dumpty sitting on 5 bricks. The instructions were to color Humpty's clothing and bricks, but to not color his face. Deanna was the only kid in her class that followed the directions and only colored from his shirt down. Yay Deanna!!!

Giraffe Time!
Deanna has devloped a love for any and all animals, but lately she has focused her love on giraffes. Many of you have met "Raffey" her stuffed animal. So, Jamie and I thought it was about time to take her to meet some real giraffes at the Brevard Zoo. We had a great time seeing all the animals, but most of all we loved the giraffe exhibit. Check it out, it is really cool!!
Check out the giraffe's long black tongue waiting for Deanna to feed him! They said that a giraffe's tongue can grow up to 18 inches long!!!

Park Playdate
We got together with my friend Tami and her daughter Hannah today. Deanna was so excited about seeing Hannah today that she was leading me to the garage with her pajamas on. She loves playing with Hannah and they get along so well. They had so much fun today playing, swinging, and running around the field holding hands. They were so cute. They were giggling and chasing each other and were even kicking the soccer ball back and forth. (Future scholarships!!)

Deanna was looking up the slide waiting for Hannah to come down!
Seaquarium
We had a lot of fun down in Miami! We had the chance to take Deanna to the Seaquarium. Deanna loves animals and the water, so we figured what better place to take her. She loved looking at the aquariums with all the fish and the dolphins. However, the fish couldn't hold a candle the sea lion that was spouting out water by the food stand where we ate lunch! (see pictures below)

Pinecrest Gardens
We took Deanna to Pinecrest Gardens, so she could look at the animals and play on the playground. We had no idea that they had built a splash park, but we let Deanna play in her clothes. She is water baby, what can we say!
