Destin Family Vacation

We just got back from Destin, Florida, where we reunited with our friends for Father's Day Weekend. Our friends Amber and Albert had a connection in Destin, so we were able to stay at a beach condo for a low price. Amber and I arrived with our girls (Grayton and Deanna) last Monday and the rest of the clan (Jamie, Albert, Bryan, Dana, and Lexie) arrived on Thursday evening. We had a great time at the beach and catching up with everyone. For more pictures of the weekend check out the Flickr badge on the side bar.

Naples Vacation

Jamie had a Defense Lawyer Conference in the beginning of June over in Naples, so we decided to make it a family vacation and Deanna and I tagged along. We stayed at the Hyatt and enjoyed some great food and pool time. The pool was a zero entry pool, so Deanna got to splash around all she wanted.

Hannah's Birthday Party

Deanna's friend Hannah turned 2 last week and had a birthday party with water pools and water slides. Deanna enjoyed fishing in the splash pool with Hannah (See first couple pictures) and then spent most of the party playing with the Dora Car and the sidewalk chalk.

Splash Park

As most of you know, we have a little "Water Baby", so of course she loves going to the splash park. She doesn't even hesitate to get wet, she runs right over to the water and sticks her face in it (see 2nd picture).

Playtime with Cousin Emily

Jamie's family came up to spend the day with Jamie on his birthday, so we set up the kiddie pool in the backyard with the slide for the girls to play in. They had a great time splashing around.

Beach Time!

Deanna loves the beach! Now that the weather is getting nice, we try to take her whenever we can. She has so much fun playing with the sand and digging with her sand toys. This time she thought it was so funny to dig up sand with her hands and dump it all over Jamie and our towel. (See bottom pics). She also spent a lot of her time chasing the seagulls, she still hasn't quite figured out why they won't let her pet them.

Deanna at Freedom Playground

My friend KJ and I took Deanna to the Freedom Playground to play when she was down from Washington D.C. visiting. This playground is all made out of wood and is a really neat place for kids to play because there are all sorts of tunnels and places to explore. Thanks for these neat pics KJ.
