Ralph's World

We took Deanna to Dowtown Disney today to see her first concert. Our friends Melissa and Manny came in from out of town with their 2 kids Nate and Sophia to go with us. For those of you who have kids, Ralph's World is probably something you have heard about. You even may have caught yourself humming the tune to some of his songs. Ralph Covert is on the Disney Channel and is famous for the songs that he sings to little kids. Deanna loves him and dances around the room whenever he is on the TV, so we thought it would be fun to bring her. As you can see from the first picture, she and Nate were both in awe when Ralph first came one stage. After the show, she got the chance to meet Ralph in person.

The Zoo

A group of my friends and I took our girls to the Zoo. Deanna had a great time strolling around and checking out all the animals and trying to mimic their sounds. She especially liked the elephants and the kangaroos. To end the day, we took the small train ride through the zoo. Flip Flops!

Deanna has taken interest in walking around in our flip flops and has actually gotten pretty good at is, as you can see from the pictures. So, Jamie went out and bought Deanna her first pair of Reef Flip Flops!! She loves them so much that she asks to put them on in the house!

Wags N' Whiskers

We took Deanna to the annual Wags and Whiskers Festival held at the dog park. As you know, she absolutely loves dogs and we thought it would be fun for her to get a chance to romp around with them. It was a very cold morning, but the dogs were still out in full force. We let Deanna run around in the small dog area. As you can see from the pictures she made some friends pretty quickly. (FYI -- she is laughing the first picture not crying!!). We didn't stay too long because it was cold, but next year we will come back and bring our two dogs and maybe enter some competitions.

Bubble Time

Deanna loves playing with bubbles. So, my mom bought Deanna this really neat bubble machine and we have been playing with it out on the back porch. Deanna loved chasing the bubbles, trying to catch them, and even opened her mouth and tried to taste them.
